Wanne
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 07:00 PM) That's the worst strike call in the history of the game. Go get tossed Ozzie. Not sure I've ever seen a worse one. That thing wasn't even friggin close.
Frankensteiner
QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 06:57 PM) Did Griffey make his first catch for us? I was away... Just barely. They let him take his wheelchair out to CF too.
Soxman72
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 06:57 PM) Funny thought...who would have ever thought coming into this season that Alexei would be higher in the order than Griffey Jr.? No kidding....and hitting over .300......and having a great glove.....and having 9 home runs... and 38 RBI You know Williams catches a lot of s***, but CQ and Alexei have been two of the best moves this year in all of baseball. CQ will be up for MVP and Alexei will be up for RotY.

SoxFanForever
QUOTE (That funky motion @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 06:58 PM) How is Jr's arm? I cant remember. Pretty sure he still has a cannon
whitesoxfan101
Blah, Griffey's reaction gave away that it wasn't gone but I thought it had a chance anyways. That's a home run at most ballparks though, the one thing I can't get over from my trip to KC a few weeks ago is how big the ballpark is. It might be the biggest ballpark in the AL, certainly in the top 3.
fathom
Real kick in the balls with Griffey Jr. thinking that was gone.
whitesoxfan101
Masset so far tonight: 3 IP, 1 hit, no runs, 1 walk, 1 strikeout in relief of the AWFUL Homer Bailey. I think soon enough Masset will be in Bailey's rotation spot. I hope he does well there.
Heads22
QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 07:02 PM) Thome should have eaten him with a side of bacon. Stay away from Chops. STF DOWN AGAIN AVILES
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 08:05 PM) Real kick in the balls with Griffey Jr. thinking that was gone. In live speed, it didn't look like he thought it was, but on the replay it looked like he did. Kind of in between, which makes sense since it was close.
