maggsmaggs
QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 5, 2008 -> 04:31 PM) I'm looking forward to Texas/OU first. Gonna be a hell of a game, for viewing sake, I hope its a classic and not a 10+ point game, which I could see OU doing because I think they are that good. chimpy2121
Go Clemson on Thursday! We need that if we have any hope at an ACC Championship. Also, go Heels on Saturday. I hope they win that side of the conference.
JuiceCruz16
North Carolina at #22 to host the Irish, I'm lovin' it. PLus as a Ball State grad it's good to see the Cardinals in the #25 for their first time ever. Edited October 7, 2008 by JuiceCruz16

chimpy2121
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 10:28 PM) Ricky Jean Francois, DT, from LSU- "If we get a shot at Tebow, we want to put him out of the game". Tebow isn't the player he was last year. I would love for someone to lay him out to make him even more timid while running the ball.

Palehosefan
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 09:23 PM) Thinking about making the 16 hour drive for the UNC/ND game. If you haven't been to Chapel Hill yet, it's beautiful. The campus is amazing, and the game should be a great one. You can even make the short drive to spit on Cameron outhouse. danman31
This Texas game is already high scoring. I didn't see that coming. I like OU to win by quite a lot. I should not be awake yet, stupid 11am start time.

danman31
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 12:33 PM) Iowa State should totally beat Baylor today. I disagree. I don't think Baylor is bad. Texas, wow. OU really hasn't looked that good in the 2nd half. I'm very surprised. And to Illinois and Michigan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Texsox
Gotta love the Cotton Bowl. Texas moving up a couple notches in the polls for certain.

Unless Mizzou wins by 3+ scores I don't see how Texas isn't No. 1. Even if that happens, it should be close.

And to Illinois and Michigan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm still going to be very disappointed if we don't make a bowl this year. Here's the rest of our schedule: @ Baylor Nebraska Texas A&M @ Oklahoma St. @ Colorado Missouri @ Kansas St. There's 4 wins to be had in there. A win at Baylor would be a good first step. It should be quite apparent we're better than last year by leaps and bounds.
IlliniKrush
f*** that execution by the offense. Completely beat ourselves, now we're looking at a fantastic 4-4 big ten record. What a f***ing joke of a performance. Juice throws for 450+, we have 550+, and f***ing lose.
Felix
ILL no? 6-1 and bowl eligible just one year after going 1-11. This is pretty amazing. Edited October 11, 2008 by Felix
dasox24
Anyone else think Juice is trying too hard to prove he's a "passer," and therefore missing opportunities to run b/c of that? I really like he could have run for a TD in the 1st half but held too long and got sacked, which led to a FG. He just doesn't seem to have a good sense of timing in the pocket... I N I Minnesota is still garbage, true story Illinois should have won that game easily and simply beat themselves.. you have a right to be excited and happy about them after what happened last year but they still aren't that good
