th0mas35
How much worse could he be than Richards? He'd throw strikes...but more than likely give up many hits. Would anyone wanna take a chance and sign him? Edited August 3, 2008 by th0mas35
knightni
He's similar in pitch speed and talent to Loaiza. Pass.

Benchwarmerjim
please, put him in your rotation!
witesoxfan
If you are a fan of 85 mile an hour fastballs with slow, s***ty curves but with a rubber arm, sign up here! To be honest, Livan could be quite a bit worse than Richard...ERA of 6.87 since May 22.

What kind of message is it sending to pick up on a starter the team youre currently trailing in the division doesn't want? That doesn't sound like a move a first place team would make. Dick Allen
Richard shouldn't be in the majors, and won't be soon and neither should Livan. There's a reason he was released and we were able to see it last week.

Ha, the point I intented to make was we'd have difficulty remaining in first place signing a pitcher Minnesota released.
Benchwarmerjim
Apparently, Colorado won the waiver sweepstakes for Livan the Twins and rox are trying to work out a trade or however that all works
Balta1701
Hernandez claimed by the Rockies.
witesoxfan
Why do the Rockies always claim garbage from the Twins? It's EXACTLY the same as it was last year; (Ramon Ortiz/Livan Hernandez) starts off the year well. A ways through the season (Ortiz/Hernandez) start to regress to the mean and then some, completely sucking up the joint. A little further along, the Twins realize (Ortiz/Hernandez) suck complete ass, and so they DFA both players. The Rockies then seem to, for whatever reason, have some fascination with (Ortiz/Hernandez) and claim them. WTF
