scenario
Great pitching performances for Poreda, Ely, Maxwell, and Infante today. Nice to see 4 starters in the organization do so well on the same day.

JPN366
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 08:09 PM) Poreda's last minor league game? Why do you say that?
witesoxfan
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 08:12 PM) Why do you say that? I'd assume because he figures the White Sox will call him up and put him in either the bullpen (which I would assume) or rotation. Having a lefty who can throw 97+ out of the bullpen can be pretty damn nice.
Kalapse
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 10:09 PM) I'd assume because he figures the White Sox will call him up and put him in either the bullpen (which I would assume) or rotation. Having a second lefty who can throw 97+ out of the bullpen can be pretty damn nice.

Having a lefty who can throw 97+ out of the bullpen can be pretty damn nice. I imagine he'll finish up with B'ham. He's just now settling in and pitching well. Although, you never know. bighurt4life
It would be great to see Link be able to contribute in the majors considering he was mostly just a throw-in for Mackowiack

Having a lefty who can throw 97+ out of the bullpen can be pretty damn nice. Having a lefty in the starting rotation who can throw 97+ would be pretty nice as well! RockRaines
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 10:17 PM) I imagine he'll finish up with B'ham. He's just now settling in and pitching well. Although, you never know. Right, I think we should keep his development on track by letting him keep starting in AA. Matt Thornton can hold down the 97mph pen arm slot for now.
