Cubano
Milton Bradley has 306 AB and Alexei 303 AB. Still Alexei is no where to be found in this list. What is going on? http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/league_leaders.js...meSubFrame=2008 http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/individual_stats_...playerID=493351
G&T
He needs 3.1 ab's per team game which means he should need 350. Bradley should not be on that list as far as I can tell.
Dick Allen
Its 3.1 plate appearances. Bradley has walked 64 times, Alexei 9 or 10. He will need 502 plate appearances by the end of the season. It could be close if they move him up in the line-up.

SpringfieldFan
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 8, 2008 -> 09:11 AM) Its 3.1 plate appearances. Bradley has walked 64 times, Alexei 9 or 10. He will need 502 plate appearances by the end of the season. It could be close if they move him up in the line-up. Also, even if he didn't have the 502 appearances, he would still win if his average were still high enough even if you assumed outs for the missing AB's and recalculated the average based on that. Balance
QUOTE (FranktheTank35 @ Aug 8, 2008 -> 10:07 AM) Believe that was Y.A. Tittle. Yes, this I know. I was poking fun at the spelling of "tittle"
Cubano
QUOTE (Balance @ Aug 8, 2008 -> 12:27 PM) Yes, this I know. I was poking fun at the spelling of "tittle" English is not my primary language. Therefore, I will make spelling mistakes quite often. Even though I may know the spelling of any given word, many times nonnative speakers will make mistakes. I won't check the spelling every time I post a message. I'll go crazy. By the way, I did not appreciate you joke. Edited August 8, 2008 by Cubano
YASNY
QUOTE (Cubano @ Aug 8, 2008 -> 05:50 PM) English is not my primary language. Therefore, I will make spelling mistakes quite often. By the way, I did not appreciate you joke. Cubano, I wouldn't be quite so touchy on this subject. We all make typo, spelling and/or grammar mistakes and at times it leads to an opportunity for someone to make a clever retort. That's what I feel happened here. He wasn't picking you, so to speak. It's just that he couldn't pass up the Y. A. Tittle reference for the simple reason that the opportunity was there. I'd be willing to bet that the reference would have been made regardless of who made the post.
