Brian
For all our Twinkie scoreboard watching. Nobody wants to hand out in the AL Central thread with me. Royals have the tying run on 2nd in the 8th.

justBLAZE
I like the idea here. I'm following the game on gameday. Royals can't deliver but they outhit the Twins already, I still like their chances.

maggsmaggs
Michael Cuddyer broke a bone in his left foot while during a rehab assignment. Big break for the Sox as he is a pretty good bat. From Rotoworld.com Michael Cuddyer, who was rehabbing a finger injury in Triple-A on Friday night, broke a bone in his left foot when it was hit by a line drive and is now likely out for the season. Cuddyer will have the foot placed in a protective boot today. The injury will sideline him for at least another four weeks, and since Cuddyer has already been out for five weeks it will take him some time to get back in the swing of things. Perhaps he can be ready if the Twins make the playoffs, but the odds of Cuddyer contributing are highly unlikely even if he beats the odds and does manage to get back into uniform. justBLAZE
That is a huge break for the Sox, however ... his replacement will probably do twice as good, damn Twins.
GoodAsGould
Denard Span has been a more than capable replacement for Cuddyer so not that big of a blow, only other guy he would replace is Gomez who seems to kill us despite his overall poor numbers. justBLAZE
Greinke crapping his pants early, runers on the corners nobody out top 1st inning. Get it together Zach.
Benchwarmerjim
It will be interesting to hear if Grienke's suspension is reduced. He drilled Delmon Young. Young hit a homer earlier in the game, and the batter before drilled a triple off the wall

Benchwarmerjim
well, usually on appeals they are reduced. Im thinking he is not getting that reduction. he may get it extended..I dont know. But it seemed a bit odd to go out and drill a guy when you have an appeal not taken care of

There's no LOSS thread tonight, I think everyone is concerned because now Crede, Linebrink and now Jose are not available. Tough times coming up. jphat007
If they hit .314 or whatever it is with RISP (the best number in like 40 years or whatever) the rest of the year, then we are going to lose the division. It's just as simple as that. It's tough to overcome a team setting record numbers like that. If that is the case, then hopefully we can compete for the Wild Card. WilliamTell
I was hoping so much that Young would charge the mound or throw a bat again (as long as he didn't injure anyone) and get a major suspension.
WilliamTell
The Royals scored 2 in the 6th to tie it against the Twins, then they give a run right up so it's now 3-2 Twins.
