I love Sox fans sometimes. They have been spoiled by the HR all these years. HR=bad. Smallball=Good.

THIS TEAM LEADS THE LEAGUE IN HOME RUNS. WHY ARE WE GIVING UP OUTS IN THE 5TH INNING???

I think Hawk's stupidity sets the tone.

All aboard the Gavin train

Ozzie bringing in Thornton with men on base

That = Runs Scored

Thanks Oz

Well, you really can't start Thornton off in the inning, because Gavin had a long time to rest (too much, apparently) and had pitched well since the Lowell homer...then you have to really extend him (Thornton) to bridge across to Dotel, if you can manage to get to the 8th and keep the lead or at least a tie.

We're just too vulnerable in our bullpen right now.

Thorton can go two innings.

So we have Thornton warming up....why in the hell did Ozzie leave Gavin in to face Casey? Terrible managing continues

Than Francona counters with Youkilis. I would of rather seen Casey up, even if he did single.

There's nothing wrong with letting Floyd in to pitch. A pitcher's job is to pitch deep into ballgames. And Ozzie having some faith in his starter is not "terrible managing."
