greg775
What's funny is we already got 6 hits. We're abusing Davies worse so far than they are abusing Lance. Through 2 innings at least.

sweatpants
QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Aug 14, 2008 -> 01:55 PM) CQ is getting a ton of deserved MVP talk, but JD should be getting some too Was just going to post that.

I know he gets on base a ton, but then why does Swisher get ripped on here so much? To have your AVG at .258 a week ago and now it's under .250 is a shame. BTW- guess what I'm eating? Cooooooooooooookie Crisp. Edited August 14, 2008 by whitesoxbrian
justBLAZE
1-2-3 for Lance. Maybe he can settle and go 6 innings strong. He seems opposite to Richard who would start strong and fall apart by 4th inning. Edited August 14, 2008 by tommy

I like Swisher a lot, but his numbers are down, and his OPS+ is 100, which is average, also his slugging is a lot lower than Jim's at .412. Still, Swisher tore it up in June and is playing CF basically full time. I expected more from him this year, but hopefully he will continue to see a ton of pitches and contribute down the stretch

Swisher's versatility should get him the consistent at-bats. I again will state that Broadway's day is nice regardless as the defense has let him down.
