There is nothing like watching a good old-fashioned ass pounding...

Are you watching the cubs game again?

Anyhoo....Another 4 Homerun game. The are just mashing the ball. Let's return the favor to the Rays and welcome Willsy home with another 4 homers.

For now, I'm much more curious/wanting/concerned about Liney. But thanks.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on Crede at this point. I'm sorry to see him (probably) leave the Sox this way, but we have to move on.

Regarding Linebrink, this sounds encouraging, but I'm not sure if it means that much...

Linebrink (shoulder) threw without discomfort on Tuesday and may throw again from the side on Wednesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. (Aug 20)

I forgot to start texting for the score even though on my lunch break I told myself when to start to and by the time I got home it was over. (waz OVAH!). Guess work went faster than usual today, which is awesome, but a Sweep and 5 W streak is even better (BETTAH!).

Which is exactly why Ozzie took the position he did on Crede. He has to act like he isn't coming back, and be pleasantly surprised if he does.

And with what has happened to Joe, and the way Fields' has regressed, I'd say it's more likely than not that our 2009 3rd baseman isn't in the organization ATM.

Hawks vote is for Beltre. I wouldnt mind that at all

I still think it's Fields.

If it turns out in 2009 that he doesn't do well enough to keep the position, then I can picture them looking for someone else.

Given this scenario... I think the odds of the Sox resigning Uribe to be the backup plan in 2009 are very high.
