I can't believe some people still try to argue that he's a good defensive player.

well he hasnt been bad this year because of bad judgments like that one

he's been bad in my view b/c he's hurt and not getting off the throws like he used to

and not gloving it as well

His judgment has been awful on when to charge choppers. I'm actually surprised he made that play, as he's booted about 10 plays similar to that.

The Boston announcers totally missed what a horrible play that was by Crede. What is Hawk saying???

it was DJ that commented on it, he said "That ball has to come to the plate"

which is 100% true

Awesome recovery by Javy. Loads the bases with nobody out and only allows 1 quasi-unearned run.

Like I said a few days ago: there is not f***ing grace period for Joe Crede. Either he's close to his '05/'06 levels or he shouldn't be playing. He doesn't get 2-3 weeks to "find it".

Especially against Dice-K at home in Boston. You can't just assume we're going to put up 3-5 runs against him.

The Red Sox are injured, with Lugo, Beckett, Lowell and Drew out. That helps. Of course the "no name" pitcher tomorrow will probably cruise against the Sox and Wakefield, coming off an injury, will throw a shutout with 9 K's.

I'm just hoping 1-2 in Boston and the Twins only go 2-1 in Oakland.

Cooper said Linebrink could be back as soon as Wednesday if the simulated game goes well Monday.

What's the solution? Underperforming Fields, Uribe who everyone has apparently absolved after nonstop absolutely hating, or an All-Star?

EDIT: yes that last word was meant to madden all, but the point stands.
