IamPabloOzuna
As I do every day/night, i tried logging on to chicagosports.com (tribune sports). Firefox told me the site could not be trusted and a quick google search told me that google's security team found security issues involving the site installing malicious software according to Mozilla Security Team: What is the current listing status for chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/? Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer. Part of this site was listed for suspicious activity 1 time(s) over the past 90 days. What happened when Google visited this site? Of the 757 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 140 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 08/30/2008, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 08/30/2008. Malicious software includes 847 scripting exploit(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 2 new processes on the target machine. Malicious software is hosted on 15 domain(s), including uhwc.ru, ncbw.ru, verynx.cn. 5 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including uhwc.ru, douhunqn.cn, porv.ru. Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware? Over the past 90 days, chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/ did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites. Has this site hosted malware? No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days. How did this happen? In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message. This really sucks...I was on there at least 2 or 3 times earlier today. I hope the Tribune Company knows whats up and that this can be resolved soon.
chimpy2121
I read they were switching back over to the main site for sports earlier this week, but I'm not sure when it was supposed to happen.

Soxtalk gives me warnings from Norton sometimes, out of the blue, it never means anything though.

These were coming directly from Mozilla though, not from any virus protection.

knightni
They probably threw up the warning when the site was taken over by the Tribune, i.e. detected hacking.
