exactly....can a mod pin this post and reference it every time we see one of those god awful "this.team.is.dead." or "this.team.has.no.heart." threads

I ve never posted that this team has no heart but it's obvious that something is off,the sox are one the highest scoring teams in baseball and have been shutout for going on 14 innings, something is not kosher...not to mention the series vs the bosox

Anyone know the splits between home scoring for the Sox and road scoring?

I look at the line-up and see Swisher in LF, not a product of the White Sox organization, Owens in CF, a semi-product of the White Sox organization, but certainly not with a "Borchard swing", Dye in RF, not a White Sox product. Crede at 3rd, perhaps you have an argument there, Cabrera at SS, not a product of the White Sox organization, Ramirez at 2B, his first year in the USA, Konerko at 1b, not a product of the White Sox organization, Pierzynski at C, a product of Minnesota, and Thome at DH not a product of the White Sox organization. If you have a beef, it should be with KW for acquiring players that play a way you don't like. Evidently there are several other organizations that must teach the "Borchard swing" if your statement has any validity, which I believe it doesn't.

How did my statement have anything to do with anything but our minor league instruction.

We have been shutout 11 times, which ties us with last years shutout efforts.

tonight is frustrating, but its not like this pitcher isnt talented....we ran into the cy young last night, a top 3-4 cy young in matsuzaka....we should have pounded liz in baltimore and should have beaten bowden, but frankly on the road i expect to only win 1 of 2 of those....we just need to get back home and hope to god we pound the twins pitching that second to last series like we did in july (or whenever it was)

Like I saidy yesterday, we're just killing the ball lately.

Hawk is a dope, yet he knows damn well that against a sinker-baller like Carmona, you have to try to just hit line drives and go with the pitches. Instead, we're trying to pull pitches that are low and away or high and away. What the hell are we doing? Do we want 1st place? It doesn't matter, because after we get shutout again and the Twins finish off Toronto tonight (currently up 5-1), then we won't be in 1st.

Your b****ing as the Sox are getting shut down during a major league game. Which player(s) in the White Sox system would be good major leaguers if you were their hitting coach? The problem with the White Sox minor league system has a lot more to do with lack of talent than anything else. Ryan Sweeney was once a hot prospect, but how many people b****ed about his lack of home runs? You are so hung up with "lift and pull" which you have now changed to "Borchard swing", you're just wrong.
