jphat007
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 06:52 PM) Keep trying to homer OC. Watch that POS go hitless this series. He had a pretty big KC series. I dont think he is trying to hit homers.

Friend of Nordhagen
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 07:53 PM) Save him for what? If you pitch Broadway, you won't need to worry about a close game. Bottom-line, if Broadway's in the game, it's already over. Have the effective pitchers ready for tomorrow. Dick Allen
QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 06:53 PM) AJ better start going oppo. I love the term "oppo"
caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 07:52 PM) Keep trying to homer OC. Watch that POS go hitless this series. There was absolutely nothing he could do with that pitch. He's just not selective enough for a leadoff hitter. Ideally, he is a 8/9 hitter on a really good team, or a 2 hitter. RockRaines
Im pretty sure I could roll a ball up to the plate and our guys would swing at it.

RockRaines
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 07:53 PM) Our team has no concept on fundamentals. Thats Ozzie's job, and why he was brought in. To bring a hard played, well played game. This type of sloppy baseball is beyond what we had when we had Valentin and company playing softball here in the early 00's under manuel's watch. He got crucified for bad fundamentals and bad execution and bad motivation. Honestly, I think those guys have stressed it in ST, but the players are just f***ing lazy when it comes to it.
