BigSqwert
Someone needs to get rid of Al.
DBAHO
And to think about 5 years ago, that team was actually pretty good with Gannon behind center.
Chisoxfn
The sad part is the Raiders are headed in the right direction. They are a 7 win team, imo. I'd say they had an outside shot at the playoffs but they will have to play 4 total games against San Diego & Denver who are both head and shoulders better. However, put them in the NFC West and they are a playoff team. Heck, I think they would have a chance in the AFC East (Pats aren't good, Jets are way over-rated and Buffalo is solid but Oakland has shown they could play with them). Al Davis is a complete fool though.
shipps
Al Davis is way to wrinkled to even think straight.

danman31
Watching Al Davis' press conference angers me. What a classless d-bag.
GoodAsGould
Someone close to Al really needs to let him know how far he has fallen. The guy is clueless, he shouldnt be an owner anymore.
danman31
Yeah, he also added that Jamarcus Russell is a great player. That's hilarious.
SoCalSouthSider59
Just saw Al on ESPN....... He looks like walking death warmed over, time for him to let go of his precious Faiders, and retire to his grave.........
whitesoxbrian
Give it up, Al Davis. You have no clue what you're doing. Any owner who gives Javon Walker $60 million over 5 years is a moron.

HuskyCaucasian
The fact that Davis released to the press his letter to Kiffin shows what a jagbag Davis really is. Seriously, that's an asshole move. Edited October 1, 2008 by Athomeboy_2000
zenryan
Since Kiffin only cared about getting paid, he probably deserved it. Kinda like the Seinfeld episode where George tried to get fired from the Yankees so he could take a job with the Mets.
LosMediasBlancas
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 11:25 PM) The fact that Davis released to the press his letter to Kiffin shows what a jagbag Davis really is. Seriously, that's an asshole move. I agree. I bet Al's cock hasn't worked in about 40 years. What else would make a man so bitter and hateful? HuskyCaucasian
Ok, so Davis said he didnt get the guy he thought he was hiring. Am I straining too hard to extrapolate that out to him meaning "I thought I hired a suckup yes man, but he turned out to have a spine"? Brian
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:14 AM) Ok, so Davis said he didnt get the guy he thought he was hiring. Am I straining too hard to extrapolate that out to him meaning "I thought I hired a suckup yes man, but he turned out to have a spine"? This is pretty accurate. Yesterday was the first time I heard Al Davis' voice and he doesn't sound the way I thought he would. Voice is a tad higher.
Kyyle23
How does Davis consistently get away with firing his coaches without paying them? I had no idea he still owed Shanahan money. And his tampering and cheating accusations, usually when people start dropping those words Goodell isnt far behind. And if the Patriots were tampering with Moss before they acquired him, why would the Raiders trade him there? It just doesnt make sense. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3619925 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3620818 Edited October 2, 2008 by kyyle23
max power
No one decent is going to want to coach that team after this public display of how coaches are treated there. Edited October 6, 2008 by MAX
