HeGone33
Sox could face Garcia By Mark Gonzales, 6:37 p.m. MINNEAPOLIS -- If the White Sox need to play Monday's makeup game with Detroit to decide the American League Central title, they could see a familar face. According to veteran Tigers beat writer John Lowe of the Detroit Free Press, manager Jim Leyland said Freddy Garcia probably would start against the Sox if the makeup game is needed. "Big Game Freddy" pitched for the Sox from 2004 to 2006 and was the winning pitcher in Game 4 of the 2005 World Series. My first reaction was how Freddie is part of Ozzie's family.........I'm all for it!!!!

If it comes to worst, Tigers are loosing everything lately, and KC is winning everything lately. Edited September 25, 2008 by tommy

greg775
Great, if by some miracle we play that game, fat Freddy will no hit us. We Sox fans are paying the price for winning it all in '05. This season has been pretty painful despite our excellent overall won/loss record.
