How sad is it that we passed on Chad Bradford cause of his contract, and Tampa was able to afford him?

its so sad that decent teams are able to dig into their farm and be able to run out guys like masterson for the bosox, coke for the yanks, hell even samardjiza and we are stuck bringing up guys like ehren wasserman etc....our lack of ability to produce even any type of major league talent is laughable

How great is it that tomorrow's game still matters? Honestly for as bad as the last 3 innings have been, tomorrow is still a huge game.

no doubt....i just hope cliff lee sleeps on his neck wrong and cant go sunday...the guy has the Cy locked up already...no point in pitching him really

Well we have a guy that could of helped. But they dont want to start his clock. He will be pitching in Fall Ball in a few weeks and could be on this team right now.

that strike called to cabrera has not been called for our pitchers all night

Why would it be called? When you throw 10 guys out there that can't come close to the zone, you aren't given an extra inch.

Does it seem like our pitchers threw 100 pitches from the 5th to the 7th?

Yeah, but really the pitchers were wondering around the mound, and Ozzie was burning a path.

Kenny f***ed up when he decided to go for his crush instead of getting pen help.

Kenny was supposedly targeting Huston Street but the Sox didn't like the price, which I guess was probably Fields or Poreda. At the time it looked like a great deal to pass on, but Huston's been lights out lately.

Oh well though. This team sucks so bad that no one addition was going to put them over the top anyway. I can't wait until the first day after the regular season. I expect the axe to fall quickly on a number of these guys.
