No Javy should not be throwing pitches to Longoria in those situations.

I dont care if Javy left them up, the fact the Sox were throwing him anything close is ridiculous.

They weren't supposed to be hanging curveballs over the middle of the plate. Javy just lacks to ability to pitch.

Javy is unbelievable. And I actually had confidence in him going into today.

You know what I hate most about this piece of s***? Every time he starts a series, he sets the tone. In Minnesota, doom. Here in Tampa, you have a chance to really assert some will on this team -- but instead, Longoria is off and running and thinking he's Superman. And that will carry over beyond today.

The lesson, as always: Javier Vazquez is Spanish for Oh, What a Vag.

Badger did you watch that last fly out? Javy is so bad their hitters are licking their chops. It's bombs away like he's a home run derby pitcher.

Playing on the road sucks. We need to stay within a run (somehow with Javy) and steal the game late with a bomb.

Im watching the game where Bartlett hit a weak grounder to third for a single.

Im watching the game where the Rays went to sacrifice on the next pitch but instead Maddon out manages Ozzie and has Iwamura swinging.

Im watching the game where the Sox continue to pitch to Longoria with 2 outs.

Could Javy done better?

Sure.

But the facts are in this case he is not being put in a position to succeed.

Outside of what 3 hits no one on the Rays has even come close to hitting the ball hard?
