iWiN4PreP
I have never brought a tv before.. but i am looking for a small, affordable TV/LCD. Id love for it to be put on my wall, but doesnt have to be - but my real problem is - finding a tv for around 0-$250. Is their any skinny tv out their for that kind of price or am I kidding myself? santo=dorf
It'd be 19" wide if you can find one on sale so I advise to start saying up and spend $1000 to get a much better one.

The best you are goign to get is "generic" 19" LCD TVs for $250. Typically, small LCDs run in the $250-500. Obviously this varies by store. But at this moment, BestBuy only has one LCD listed under $250.

almagest
19" Recertified Viewsonic HDTV Envision 19" HDTV Sceptre 19" HDTV Those are all under $250 before tax/shipping. I'd go with the Viewsonic if I were you. They make decent TVs, and its 19" should be enough for gaming (XBOX360/PS3 would be in HD as well), TV, and you should be able to use it as a computer monitor, too. Just don't expect to sit any further than a foot or two away and be able to see anything.

almagest
Reviews on Newegg look pretty good. I'd read through all of those, at least. Also check out ZDNet for reviews on this company's other products.
