MexSoxFan#1
Overall,we had a nice season considering that everyone thought it would be Tigers Indians contest for the AL central crown,we got to see Floyd,Danks,Alexei and CQ come up big during the season and into the future,I might be in the minority but I also like Richard...KW has got to change our offensive philosophy big time.I love the way the Rays are made up,youth, speed and power. G&T
More fly out. 2 quickly out. I'll be shocked if we aren't shut out. This game represents everything wrong with the Sox. Can't hit junk ballers, can't hold runners, poor defense.

GoodAsGould
Yeah this isnt looking good, doesnt matter how Floyd pitched with how our offense is looking. If this series isnt enough evidence I dont know what is for KW to retool the offense.
southsideirish71
Stop swinging for the fences. Come on. Its 88 mph and there is little movement. Overswinging is f***ing you up.

G&T
Ok. That ump is giving A LOT of extra room to the Rays.
whitesoxbrian
Konerko taking 90 mph heaters right there for strike 2. Unreal. QUOTE (Wanne @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 04:15 PM) Thome 2-14 this series. Super! Such a clutch f***ing player!
Jordan4life_2007
I really thought Thome and Griffey would explode this series. This could be the last time they sniff the postseason. Guess they're destined to retire ringless.

caulfield12
Actually, Sonnanstine's fastball is slow enough that it's below the "hitting speed" and it is quite difficult to hit because the average MLB fastball now is 89-91 MPH. They've seen this guy 3 three times this season and had decent success...it's just difficult to hit homers as the pitching improves and the weather cools in September and October.
