kjshoe04
Nice job Price. I'd go back to him for the ninth. Three more to go.

fathom
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 03:17 AM) Wow. Price just manned the f*** up Thank Quentin that Drew put a lousy swing on that 0-1 pitch.
whitesoxfan101
This series has really turned into an all time classic, regardless of who wins.
fathom
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 04:17 AM) Drew did not swing on that. I stand corrected...fantastic call by the home plate ump.
ThunderBolt
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 19, 2008 -> 11:20 PM) I really need to go back this off-season and watch the innings Price pitched. I know they were few and far between, but the hype on this kid has been incredible, and it looks like he might live up to it. Is he locked into the rotation for next season? I give him a 75% chance of knocking Sonnanstine either out of the rotation or off the team. Yeah, he's that good

Yes, he'll be in the rotation, as Jackson seems on the outs.
MexSoxFan#1
Rays Phillies might break the record for least watched WS.
IlliniKrush
QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 19, 2008 -> 10:23 PM) Rays Phillies might break the record for least watched WS. Who gives a s***. No one watched the Sox/Astros series either, did that seem to matter?
ThunderBolt
Top of the 9th. Rookie left in to close. 3 outs left. Bartlett needs to be alert for anything hit his way with the way his last two nights have gone. Otherwise, And. Here. We. Go!
fathom
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 03:24 AM) Who gives a s***. No one watched the Sox/Astros series either, did that seem to matter? I would have rather it would be the Red Sox vs Cubs

iWiN4PreP
after going up 3-1 tho, all rays fans had something in common: "So Ronnie, you going to get tickets for the world series" i loved that the red sox made it 3-

whitesoxfan101
It seems like every Boston hitter is just going up there to foul off pitches until they walk.
ThunderBolt
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 19, 2008 -> 11:28 PM) Do not walk him Yeah, that is not a very auspicous way to start the inning. Especially, with Bradford already used

Harry Chappas
Joe Maddon really has misused his bullpen in game 5 and again today. Drew swung at that pitch. The two strikes on Pena were terrible. MLB dropped the cubs from their post season I can't beleive what I am seeing. I love how the Red Sox can work the count and make a pitching staff labor.
