Lyons, who went 14-6 in the regular season, fired his second five-hitter of the showdown as the Sox took the series for the fifth year in a row and for the 16th time in the last 21 meetings. The Sox were down 3 games to 1 and trailing 5-0 in Game 5 before they staged a huge comeback which culminated with the victory in the final contest.
