Jimbo's Drinker
Roy Williams loves leaving his starters in for now reason at the end of the game. I am really enjoying the Morris twins at Kansas. Too early in the season to figure out their tendencies and true talents.

Jimbo's Drinker
The foul by Horne ranks up with this play for dumbest plays I have ever seen in College BBall
ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 11:44 PM) Davidson/Oklahoma game was awesome. Blake had 27 pts and 21 rebs, while Curry had 44 points. Stephen Curry is ridiculous. I watched the first half but went to bed at halftime. If he didnt get in foul trouble and have to leave with 6 minutes left, he could have scored
JuiceCruz16
QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 12:15 AM) Roy Williams loves leaving his starters in for now reason at the end of the game. I am really enjoying the Morris twins at Kansas. Too early in the season to figure out their tendencies and true talents. That may be, but in this case it was only a 15 point lead with about 4 minutes left (well actually around 1:30 left) . Who else should have been in there besides someone in the top 10 rotation. Remember they were missing two starters already. I do think it was a solid game for UNC. Thompson showed better hands and was much more aggressive, and I LOVE how Ed Davis rebounds. Kentucky is point guard challanged, so the defense may be a mirage, as they do live and die with creating turnovers for the most part. Palehosefan
Tyler Zeller, broken wrist, out for the season. When you are snakebitten, you are snakebitten.
JuiceCruz16
QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 10:13 AM) Tyler Zeller, broken wrist, out for the season. When you are snakebitten, you are snakebitten. I could have guessed that from how he fell and was holding his arm afterwards. It seemed like he knew it was busted right away (damn, broken in 2 places, immediate surgery to be done). Terrible break, no pun intended, for Tyler and the Heels, Ginyard is suppose to be behind in his recovery as well. Plenty of adversity early on for the pre season favorites. With the red shirt Zeller will get I wonder how that will play with the monster class coming in already next year, especially the Wear twins. daa84
Illinois is in Nashville to take on my Commodores tonight...should be a good game...We are a tough, tough team to beat at home, but we are so young and Illinois has alot of experience that should help...Kevin "from the office" Stallings and Bruce Weber are also very good friends which should make this an interesting matchup....i'll say vandy pulls out a close one "I'm not going to feel good if we win," Stallings said. "It's an important game, but I'm not going to feel good at his expense. I can honestly say, no matter who he played in the country, I'd want him to win every other game. I don't have a better friend in coaching than Bruce Weber."

Buehrle>Wood
Assuming you're normal and don't have FSNSouth, ESPN Full Court, or SECTV, it won't be. It'll be on ESPN360 too but I assume you don't get that either. Have I mentioned that the BTN sucks?

Yes that does definitely suck, why have the big ten network if they dont play the games in your state.
ZoomSlowik
I'm pretty sure that Big Ten Network only has the rights to games played in Big Ten stadiums.

Yep, and that's a major problem. When ESPN didn't hate them at least we got the ESPN+ local broadcast. In other words there was never a missed game. I hope I'm wrong but Illinois really isn't all that experienced either to be honest. And the seniors we do have just aren't very talented. I really do like what I've seen from Mike Davis though. He'll be a big part of the team's success this year and into the future. Tisdale needs to start playing better and I'm afraid he may struggle against Ogilvy. Still...we have the same problem as last year in that we don't have any players, outside of Meacham and sometimes McCamey, that can hit a jump shot. I think once Alex Legion joins the team it will help the offense a lot and they should be much better by the end of the season than they are right now. whitesoxbrian
Both teams are playing pretty well defensively, but both have had open shots but have been unable to put the ball in the hoop. Oh well, should be an interesting 2nd half.
The Bones
Illinois up 1 at the half but is going to have to limit their turnovers to hold on for the win. Vandy started making some plays late in the half and actually had about a 6 point lead before Illinois went on a little run to get the lead back with McCamey's 3 to end the half. whitesoxfan101
Vandy has only forced 5 turnovers and their 3 point defense has been non-existant. However, they are still only down 1 and still at home so I'd expect the Commodores will pull it out. Hope I am wrong though!
