I missed it due to work, but considering the fact that 8 people on the team were getting over food sickness I can't complain. A win is a win. Obviously, you guys hate them for all the publicity they get, and as a Duke fan, I agree to a certain degree but the nervousness that is right now up until tip-off is ridiculous. I try to keep it in perspective, with march madness right around the corner, but it's always a bit nerve racking before the matchup. Yeah it couldn't be that they started hot against one of the worst out of conference schedules in recent memory, then played well at times against the worst version talent and depthwise of the Missouri Valley Conference this decade. No, they were just a great team that eventually fell victim to poor chemistry. Stuff like that happens all the time. What about when they lost to Indiana State the first time? Bradley? Wichita State? Or are you categorizing those as "chemistry-based" losses? Maybe oh maybe, they just arent as good as you painted them to be repeatedly on this site. BTW Creighton isnt really a win to hang your hat on.
