Clubtrillion is about to explode, as Bill Simmons is on the bandwagon and made significant mention of it today in his B.S. Report as he interviewed him today.

dammit, this may lead to it being shut down. I was hoping it would stay low key.

NIU playing an awful game tonight against SIU unfortuantely. SIU is going to be awfully good when all of those young guys they have mature and get more experience, because the talent level of the newbies is higher than any I can remember down there. Dillard in particular, I can see why he was Mr. Basketball in the games I have watched them. He is going to be an absolute stud, especially next year when he will be in full control of the show when Mullins is gone. Dillard and Carlton Fay are the future of that program, and I really think they'll both be fantastic players.

Wasn't exactly a dominant performance by the Salukis. Dillard is turning the ball over way too much, hopefully he hangs in there, cuz you are right. We had 5 freshmen on the floor at one time tonight.

I like Ryan Hare, but he isn't getting to the hole like he did in high school. That will come.

Any team with Tony Boyle will struggle though.

You weren't kidding, that is quite possibly the weakest non conference schedule ever up to this point.

It's awful. UIC should be tough, then we get Mo St., Evansville, and Creighton so the tests are coming. Still glad to be unbeaten at this point.

I really don't think Fay is that good. A decent role player maybe. I haven't seen Dillard very much though I hear he is going to be very good.

Than you haven't seen Fay play this year.

You could tell it was two very young teams for sure. The difference is SIU has a couple of senior leaders, and better general talent. And yes, the Salukis have some other good players too, but Dillard and Fay are the guys that jump out.

I don't know about that :-), but you are the man for your biggest loser numbers. I just noticed those, and they are amazing. Great job.

Thanks man. And you missed my 2nd post. I was wondering how many people would reply before seeing it. The over/under in my mind is eight!

I saw it, and I also saw that UNC came out as 29 point favorites. I don't bet at all, but if I did, I would be all over that. I wouldn't be shocked if UNC only won by

I didn't know the line, thanks for that info. You're a lot more confident in the Aces than I am. I'd be happy if they kept it under 20. It's been several tough years for Evansville and while I think they will be back near the top of the MVC, I'm not convinced yet.

I have a few reasons that I think UNC will get a little bit of a scare.

1. UNC just came off of only a 16 point win over 2-7 Oral Roberts at home.

2. Marcus Ginyard is still out

3. I'm sure seniors Shy Ely and Jason Holsinger will have the games of their lives.

I will be pleasantly suprised if UNC can pull out a win by 15.

UIC beats Lewis University tonight by 23. Pretty sure Lewis isn't division 1, but the Flames are 7-2 now and have to be considered a legit threat in the Horizon League. Not sure who cares about that, but I have always enjoyed visiting once or twice a year to check out a game at the Pavilion. They are interesting (and dangerous) because they have 2 star players, who are both seniors, and one is a guard and the other a post in 7 footer Scott Vandermeer, plus several good role players. I will stick my neck out there and say UIC wins in Normal on Saturday, but it should be a fantastic game regardless of if I am right or not.

Also, DePaul ended their 4 game losing streak in a game dangerously similar to the Morgan State loss. Just like in that game, DePaul had a double digit lead early in the 2nd half, and just like in that game the lead vanished. In fact, they had a 16 point lead at the half tonight. Fortunately for DePaul, Dar Tucker drew a foul with 1.1 seconds left and made both free throws to give the Blue Demons a 64-63 win at Allstate Arena. They did a nice job on Seth Curry.

10-0 is still 10-0.

and cupcakes are still cupcakes. SIU fans I can respect since they have compteted with the big boys on the real stage. I still have never seen a better defensive approach than the tourney game against my Jayhawks. ISU is winning against directional academies, and sisters of the deaf tech.
