f*** you to all who knock the Wolverines. Michigan played a great game, the loss of Diggs really hurt. Yeah, we lost it on the fumble, allowing that pass to the freshman, and not completing that last pass but I remain proud of my Wolverines, who did beat Penn State, again, as always, is there anyone alive who remembers PSU beating UM? No, I thought so. And we are going to a New Years Day bowl, probably the Citrus.

ND had such a slight chance of getting to the Fiesta as to be non existant. They will play in a good bowl on New Years day though.

I am friends with all who hate OSU, which is now a smaller campus after all the fires...

Is that UConn-Iowa State score real?

we all know ND won a phantom touchdown

we all know I never trash tgalk other teams

ND is back after a few off seasons, welcome back to winning, something Michigan always does, one of the longest consecutive bowl game streaks out there and shorter than it should because until the 1976 season, the Big 10 would only allow 1 team to go to a bowl game.

You misunderstood. I have known a few ND fans I would like to f***! That at least would make them useful... I won't trash talk teams, but I will honestly comment on fans...

We will know more about Navarre next season. If he improves as much this season to next as he did last season to this, he will follow in the tradition of Griese and Brady - and Haubaugh, Grbac, and the forgotten UM QB in the NFL, old what's his name, the te for Buffalo.

However, should Navarre not continue to improve, then he'll be just another Scott Driesbach.

The Iowa game's final score was a matter of incredible momentum, like I have rarely seen (I was at the game). That is not to take away from the fact that they flat out beat us, but if Markus Curry handn't fumbled that punt, maybe, maybe... it was only 10-9 then. But once they got the recovery, wham.

No doubt in my mind that Iowa is better than OSU. I also think OSU will beat Miami-Fl. They will match up against them well.

And we will be playing on New Years Day, as we should be, minimally.

Baggio, glad you are an Oregon State U alum - I met some Washington fans this season, same day of course UM beat UW, and they ranked UM fans as the best they ever met - true, even though credefan will scoff. They told me the absolute worst fans anywhere were Oregon fans. Told me some horrible tales about classless Oregon.

and credefan, we didn't beat OSU this year, damn it all, but through history we have won about 66% of the time. The loss hurt, but I vastly prefer our history. At least, credefan, OSU actually scored their touchdowns against us this year, unlike a certain ego-ridden school in Indiana.

Yep, that was an ugly game. Oregon State was stocked that year, then the next season they came in with super high preseason Rankings with like Simenton as their running back and well, Fresno State upset them and they went way downhill.

oregon state relies heavily on JC transfers with a lot of skills but are guys who are passed on by the other pac-10 schools because of either grades or attitude...if you ever been to corvallis you would know why..while i enjoy a town like that some kid from the inner city would never feel at home there... to compete they have to take the leftovers and means alot of JC transfers who dont get any other offers...so their program rolls over every 2 years as opposed to 4...putting together any kind of a consecutive successful seasons is almost impossible...i always thought oregon state would be much more successful if they moved into the WAC or mountain west conferences

Well they've landed some top talent lately, but they just can't continuosly do it, or so it appears.

I figured those wins and the high preseason ranking that year would lead them to land some big recruits. Everyone was raving about Erickson as well and he even turned down the USC job to stay at OSU.

People were really raving about that program. They are still decent of course, but I truly think any team in the Pac 10 can compete because as long as your in it you will have a great shot at the pro's no matter what team your playing for.

they got lucky with erickson...he is from the pacific northwest and said for years that he wanted to go back thwere and coach...he considers himself in semi-retirement now..he has a small ranch east of corvallis that he plans to retire on..

the last coach oregon state had was jerry pettibone...whose big claim to fame was back to back winning season at northern illinois...while jerry was a great guy he couldnt recruit top athletes because he didnt have erickson's rep so his wishbone offense didnt cut it in the PAC-10 ....once erikson leaves thats the quality of coaches oregon state will get again..
