Brian
Went and voted at 12:30 this afternoon. Saw there was no line and went and checked in. Only about a dozen people there but a lady was trying to get answers to her dilema. Her daughter was with he and wanted an absentee ballot for Virgina! You heard me right. They told her she had to do it in Virginia and should of been done by now. Durrrrrr.
Disco72
Hour long wait mid-morning in Fulton County. We used electronic voting (no paper ballots) which was the first for me. The biggest issue is that there were over 50 candidates and/or issues on the ballot, so it took some serious research before voting day.

Soxy
QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) 50 minute wait. 40 year old Machine ballots. 20 minute wait, very old (probably more than 40) machine that makes a very reassuring DING! when you pull the lever. There was a very concerned older lady about if her vote might get lost. Other than that, no issue.

Soxy
QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 09:34 PM) My machine was on its last leg. They are scheduled to be replaced in NY state next year. When I voted last year my blue-hair said we were getting them for this election, but apparently I was misinformed. I don't care I kind of like the lever pulling contraption. ChWRoCk2
Walked in and walked right out. Literally took me 5 minutes, did it electronically. The judges part is just tedious though, do they really expect us to know about each one and select yes or no.

I don't care I kind of like the lever pulling contraption. It was actually very difficult to pull my lever for Obama.

southsider2k5
I voted at about 4:30pm and was first in line when I walked in. I had more difficulty keeping the kid under control than I did voting. Easy in, easy out.
