DBAHO
Well I went to the Garden on Saturday Night to see these 2 legends in action. There were about 10,000 Brits who flew over to watch the fight, so the crowd was pro Calzaghe. Ended up being a great fight, and Jones really got busted open. Don't think anybody saw Calzaghe getting knocked down in the 1st happening though.

DBAHO
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 10, 2008 -> 09:01 PM) Man I wish I could have watched. Did HBO do a 24/7 for this? Yeah I think they did. One of my buddies over here did production work for Setanta Sports as well, and ended up sitting right next to the ring next to Jeremy Piven. He's still buzzing. LosMediasBlancas
If there are any boxing fans on here, you'll remember what a great fighter Jones was at one time. He was pound for pound the best in the sport. He was running out of people to fight. Then he got knocked out. Not your regular knockout, I mean he got put to sleep, motionless on the mat. The ref could have counted to a million, it wouldn't have mattered.... and then it happened AGAIN... in his very NEXT fight. I've never seen an athlete go from to the top of his sport, to rock bottom pretty much overnight.

JuiceCruz16
Jones would of killed Calzaghe in his prime, but with that said it was a solid fight a pretty good watch and for the over the hill Jones not a bad showing.
