Wow.  You got screwed.

Sorry dude.  :(

I do suspect she started using drugs, which is what changed her so much, but thats only a guess. WHen we were together, she didnt use them.

The most likely cause of mood and/or personality changes is drugs. That's a shame.

Yup, despite everything, i do feel bad for her. SOMETHING happened to her, and its sad. One day shes gonna wake up and realize whats shes done, and hopefully at that point , she can get help. Im not sure drugs is the cause, its hard to say, but i do hope she gets help. When i first met her, she was the sweetest person i knew.

This is sad.

Get back to calling her a b**** -- that was more fun. :D

Dude , i lost my job, my woes cant compare to hers, you know that.........

True. There are more jobs out there, but if she's on drugs, she's f***ing up her 1 life, and that's something that she can't go back on. Sounds like you have the right approach. :cheers

BTW, I don't think you ever answered my question about your future residence. Is it actually in Vegas, or is it in Henderson?

WHat the hell is Henderson? I am moving to Vegas.

Henderson, NV is the fastest growing city in America. It's just East (I believe) of Vegas, down the 215, about 5 or so miles. My future brother-in-law lives there, and it's a very nice city.

A lot of people lump Vegas with Henderson, which is why I wanted to make sure you were moving to Vegas Vegas, and not Henderson. One of these times when I'm in town we'll have to meet up for an alcoholic beverage or 2. :cheers ;)

Coolness. From Vegas, you're less than 4 hours away from LA by car if you don't hit any major traffic.

The Vegas Metro area is the fastest growing, and that includes the suburbs, the largest being Henderson.  According to the 2000 Census.

http://www.govspot.com/lists/fastestgrowing.htm

Thought so, thats why im moving there......job market is booming.

No state income tax, and the property is dirt cheap (and will skyrocket in future years). I definitely will consider buying a home there when the time comes for me to get one.

The house that my bro-in-law bought in Henderson cost him and his wife a little less than $270K, and it EASILY would be $500K in an average part of So Cal, and well over $1M in some of the nicer neighborhoods. Unbelievable difference in the cost of housing. There's also an unbelievable difference in electricity bills (largely due to A/C that must be run practically 24/7 from March-September), but it's well worth it.

Well plus, you're moving there from Texas, so it probably won't be too much of a change in climate. So Cal to Vegas is a bit more dramatic, though. You can take the heat more than us beach bums. :)

Believe it or not, it may be worse here. Our average summer day is 98 with 85 percent humidity, compared to Vegas 105 with 25 percent humidity....

That is true, Vegas' heat is typically a very dry heat, so it won't be as bad as Texas. So I guess you'll be galavanting around town in a flannel and jeans at high noon in mid-August eh? ;)

Thats about right. The majority of the people in the LA and Orange County area are selling smaller homes, that go for 300,000 to 500,000 and being able to move to the Inland empire in a home that would be worth a million in orange county for 300,000 or so.

The Inland Empire is the 2nd fastest growing area right next to Vegas. Vegas has some awesome houses and they too are dirt cheap.

Investment wise, I don't see as much upside in the Vegas area, simply because there is so much room to expand. That isn't as much the case in the Riverside area, cause they can only go so far before they are too far away from Oragne County and LA. Of course as the industries boom in the Inland empire should become even more self sufficient, although still, the majority of the people commute into the bigger counties.

Vegas should be nice BMR, just dont' get in with the mob

Polo shirt, now thats fancy talk. You gotta learn to be a beach bum out in the desert.

Shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. Thats my daily dress code unless I have a meeting at work.

Yeah, Jason needs to quit slacking off and fix it for real already.

Sleeping, Ha, although I really should. Have a meeting real early tomorrow morning, but ehh.

I swear the feature works, or a lot of the time it does. I have no idea what triggers it not to work at times.
