Guest wsc425
This team is horrible. We can't even get to .500! Alomar was a s***ty trade now that I think about it, cause he doesn't do jack for this team anyway. I am suprised in him. Hopefully Jerry Manuel will be fired over the break. witesoxfan
Alomar's defense is worth the trade alone. His defense will save a couple runs a week. Those couple runs could mean the difference in some games down the stretch. Would you rather have that s***head Jimenez at 2B and still have Almonte, Ring, and Salvo, instead of having Alomar without the 4 above? I know I wouldn't. And Manuel will not be fired. Alomar's defense hasn't exactly been good since joining the Sox. He has made some nice plays. But he's also committed quite a few errors which I believe led to unearned runs. BAD TRADE! And I'd much rather have his range defensively then Jimenez's. You think this past week was bad? It would have been worse with DJ at 2B. Come on guys, this is crazy. This sox team was the same lame as bunch before Robbie got here. Alomar is just fine. Its not his fault. Its not Everetts fault. We just plain SUCK. KipWellsFan
I'm not blaming anything on Robbie Alomar. I'm just saying he hasn't been anything spectacular defensively with his 3 errors, which isn't too bad. It just wasn't worth giving up the prospects. I was mad when I heard about the trade and I'm still mad about the trade.
