Whitewashed in '05 Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 If he were to sign and we noticed there wasn't much of an improvement in ST we would be in the exact hole were in right now with no time and no teams willing to deal. Even if the sox started negotiations with him he shouldn't be the first option and since some teams probably will guarantee him a contract he wouldn't pick us anyway.
