I get to do it the week you come out. Hopefully they don't put me on some massive drug case, haha.

Seriously though that would ruin my mini vacation. I will just hang out with Jeanette then, I think I like her more than you anyways.

Corona tastes very different out of a can.

Indeed it does. had to drink Corona out of a can at Holiday Isle in Islamorada. The solution was to stick with Rumrunners, a drink that was invented at Holiday isle's Tiki Bar which makes it sort of a religious pilgrimage. But with alcohol.

Can't be worse than out of a bottle though.

Eh, I don't mind Corona.

It was on sale and I thought I was going to be tailgating on Saturday, so I grabbed a 12'er.

It's decent for a watery beer - certainly better to me than Budweiser products.

I normally drink Miller when I can't get Hacker-Pschorr, so I'm well-versed in the ways of the watery beer.

I spent college drinking Natty lite and Keystone. Watery beer doesnt affect me

I'm immune to how bad Keystone is now.

I obviously won't go out and search for it, but if its around I have no problem drinking it anymore.

So yesterday, I was walking to go pick up some lunch downtown. A man and woman walk up next to me, waiting for a light. I glance over, and the man is Mayor Daley. The woman was an assistant of some kind I assume. Having met him on a couple occasions but not knowing him well, I give the courtesy head nod, and he does the same.

Just thought it was odd that it was just Da Mayor and one assistant, wandering through downtown, unnoticed by anyone else apparently.

This.

And add Lone Star to that list for me. I had it for the 1st time a few days ago while in Texas, and it's pretty good for being Texas' version of one of the "cheap" beers.

Yeah that is surprising, usually when I have run into him, he has his detail with him. Plus he is really short, how did you even notice him way down there ;)

His female assistant was taller than he was. And I must confess, I think she was the one that caused me to glance in the first place.

I saw him at an Al Gore dinner last year and he looked like a mess. If I didn't know he was the mayor I'd have thought he was some schlub off the street. Hair was messy, suit didn't fit well, goofy mannerisms.

And you were surprised by this? Its those sorts of commonisms that are among the reason Chicagoans love the guy. He comes off as the regular guy (sort of).
