Myrow's BB/K ratios are very impressive and coupled with decent pop he seems to be a good hitter. However, he's 32, 5’11 and shown absolutely nothing at the Major League Level. I imagine he'd be better served signing with a team like the Nationals or Braves. http://minors.baseball-reference.com/players.cgi?pid=10310

Kroeger was a pretty big name in the D-Backs organization, but was rapidly overtaken after a bad year and the emergence of Carlos Quentin. He’ll definitely make the starting lineup of Charlotte. Above-average arm, decent OF range, nice fluid swing, he’ll light-up Charlotte, predominantly because it lends itself to hitters like himself. http://www.baseball-reference.com/k/kroegjo01.shtml

Restovich was log-jammed out of the Majors by the cadre of Twins Of’s that he came up with (Ford, Cuddyer, Ryan, ETC) He’s a lot like Kroeger, but with more speed, and a weaker arm. http://minors.baseball-reference.com/players.cgi?pid=30713.

Eider Torres played extremely well in Winter Ball and has a very, very outside chance (5-10%) to make the team as the final bench player (if they decide that Lillibridge should be playing SS or Getz 2B everyday at Charlotte)...

German used to be a top prospect and have a devastating fastball, but those days are long gone.

Corky Miller and Chris Stewart will fight it out to be the back-up catcher, unless Cole Armstrong is incredibly impressive and they decide he wouldn't be better off playing everyday in the minors (see above).

Van Benschoten everyone in baseball is very familiar with his career trajectory...

QUOTE (Hawkfan @ Jan 13, 2009 -> 01:09 PM)
I'm proud to say i was not fooled when i saw the title of the thread, unlike on april fool's day where I told three people about the trade only to later find out it was april first.

I'm hoping we can get Luis A Gonzalez and Alex. S Gonzalez too. Have the Mariners signed Joshua Fields yet?
