lostfan
Currently: Geographic Intelligence American Literature from the Civil War to the Present (god i hate this f***ing class so much, last general class I need) Next up (starting March): Terrorism and Counterterrorism Tactical Intelligence Since I do my classes in pairs I haven't decided what the next 2 will be yet, but they'd start in May. I'm leaning towards Terrorism and U.S. National Security and Open Source Collection.
kapkomet
Sitting on my ass doing absolutely nothing. Well, while I don't have a job, I've read more trade publications, Wall Street Journals, and other assorted books then I've read in 3 years (post MBA). And I'm studying for the CMA (specialized CPA more or less).

Felix
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 14, 2009 -> 04:51 PM) Great crop of classes right their. Being a Sport Management major is awesome, except for the part that my jobs don't pay much (or anything) while I'm still in college and even when I graduate, I'll work long hours and get paid peanuts. Either way, I'm doing what I love, so that's a plus.

That's a great feeling - being able to concentrate on what interests you rather than taking the Gen Ed classes. Though, it's also when the classes start getting harder, lol. On a side note, I took History of Jazz last year and I loved it. Never had much knowledge or liking for Jazz music until I took the class and now I really enjoy it (at least at certain times). I even bought a huge coffee table-style book about a bunch of different Jazz musicians after the class. Can't say I'm an expert by any means, but I enjoy the genre. Yeah, I definitely see that happening with me as well. I could always listen to it, but it was never a priority of mine to go see a show or anything, but I'm liking it more and more. It helps that my entire class period we watch YouTube videos of Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, etc. and the the prof. plays the piano or trumpet the rest of class.
