MHizzle85
QUOTE (tommy @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 07:18 PM) Is there a way I can get opening day tickets still? I'm sure theres still a slight chance if you try next week. Other than that you may be better off getting an ozzie plan.
jenksycat
anyone know if the sox pride club still gets to buy OD tickets early? nevermind "members of the Sox Pride Club have an internet pre-sale on Wednesday, February 11" Edited February 5, 2009 by Jenksy Cat
whitesoxbrian
I think I'm going to see 1 game in Boston, all 3 in Cincy, and maybe 1 or 2 in Milwaukee. I get home games for free so whatever.

retro1983hat
Milwaukee has put Opening Day, Cubs series and the Sox series in a lottery. I feel like I have been waiting forever for them to get back to Milwaukee. Stupid uneven leagues. We play in Pittsburgh every damn year. Then what do the initials PIT stand for? Cuz we played that crazy PIT team last June 17-19, and this May 22-24.

Cuz we played that crazy PIT team last June 17-19, and this May 22-24. Last June was at the Cell, as is this May, he was talking about playing on the road in Pittsburgh, which we did in 07, havent since then. Ah yes, i did misread retro1983hat's post. However, this does mark the 4th straight year the Sox play Pitt. It would be nice to start a new trend where the Sox play in Miller Park for a few years in a row.
whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Feb 6, 2009 -> 10:23 AM) Ah yes, i did misread retro1983hat's post. However, this does mark the 4th straight year the Sox play Pitt. It would be nice to start a new trend where the Sox play in Miller Park for a few years in a row. That's what I was getting at. While we did play in Pittsburgh in 2006 and 2007, we didn't play there last year and we won't this year.
retro1983hat
My point is that we haven't been to Miller Park since Canseco hit those two bombs there.
266344
Brewers group tickets just went on sale today. I just picked up a group of 25 for the Sox game on Sat. 6/14, $15 each. Lets take over the park for this weekend.

elrockinMT
I have ended up getting tickets to Sox games in parks close to here like Seattle and Denver and I refuse to go the the Twinkiedome. I have to get to Chicago this year.

Harry Chappas
4 for the opener and 4 for Friday cub. There was no 9:00 sale for the high paying folks so the regular full season and 27 gamers all get in at the same time therefore getting better tickets than usual. Now let's hope they are not 15 games under by mid-June.
