He also will have the chance to make $1 million in incentives. A source told the Post that Jones picked the Rangers so he could work with batting coach Rudy Jaramillo. BearSox
It is amazing how bad he has gotten from being one of the games elite players. I think it's safe to assume he was PED user.
santo=dorf
Wise is guaranteed more money and has a major league contract. That says a lot about AndrUw, but I wasn't against the idea of him a shot.
elrockinMT
Amazing how far the mighty have fallen. Safe to say he was a complete bust for the Dodgers and I think it was wise (no pun intended) for the Chisox to avoid Andruw. I just don't see him bouncing back. witesoxfan
QUOTE (BearSox @ Feb 8, 2009 -> 01:17 PM) It is amazing how bad he has gotten from being one of the games elite players. I think it's safe to assume he was PED user. I don't. Dude's been in the majors for 12 full seasons. I think the only thing it's safe to assume is that his body has worn down a ton because of how long he's been in the majors. I see him bouncing back with the Rangers. Jaramillo is a hell of a good hitting coach and he has revived the careers of several good hitters who were thought to be long gone. That ballpark helps matters too. G&T
Odd that I read this news right after reading an article about the Rangers and steroids.
