ptatc
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 02:18 PM) Cowley: Dayan Viciedo's first major-league at-bat? Ripped a hard single to left. Greg Walker has ruined him already. He pulls everything!!!! Why can't he learn to hit to the opposite field.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 02:17 PM) Brian just scored from first on a double. Vintage Cowley Anderson just scored from first on a double. Then again, it was hit to the girly-arm of Scott Podsednik.

If they win today, I may have to put the wrong time in again tomorrow. But, I will say in my defense, it said 3:05pm on the board. I assumed that was local, but, it was Eastern. MY BAD! ChesterCopperpot
Does anyone know how the runner scored? I'm trying to make sense of it, but I can't. Double. K. Out. Out w/ RBI. ???
NorthSideSox72
If Ozzie is playing Wise in CF in game 2, in a way, that makes me feel good. My take on Ozzie is that he plays guys the first week or two who he is leaning towards eliminating, to see if he can do so quickly. Then the people left battle it out. Kalapse
So according to Cowley Viciedo booted a ball at 3rd that should have been ruled an error but was instead a single. Who knows what actually happened.
GoSox05
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 03:02 PM) Kroeger and Miller both 2-for-2. Didn't Kroeger get a hit yesterday too? 3-for-3 now? Yes, he is hitting 1.000 on the year. Whats the deal with this Kroeger? Egbert gives up two hits, but no runs. He also had a K. Jimmywins1
Kroeger was a big time prospect with the Diamondbacks, but they were so loaded in the OF (a certain Quentin was ahead of him) that he never really got a shot. He has had some pretty bad K/BB ratios, but was more than solid last year in the minors.
southsideirish71
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 03:03 PM) So according to Cowley Viciedo booted a ball at 3rd that should have been ruled an error but was instead a single. Who knows what actually happened. You have to dig through 7 layers of cute comments and jabs. Once he makes up his mind on someone, they are doomed. Brian could hit 700 and will still be the lurker of the hunnies.
