Dick Allen
Not that Clayton is Johann Santana Jr., but I'm surprised the voting is as close as it is.
Marky Mark
QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 5, 2009 -> 07:57 PM) 300 IP at the AAA level in '07 and '08 where he put up an ERA in the mid 4's and a consistently mediocre WHIP. Actually now that I think about it, he's never really done anything noteworthy except at the pitcher's paradise in Birmingham. I was encouraged by those '06 numbers but they look like an anomaly now. It's not that I'm a hater, it's that there really isn't much to go off of besides the fact that he was a first-round pick. The sample size I was refering to was how much time you've had to watch him live in person or via tv to see his pitches speed/break/location. I didn't mean his career stats. The first time I saw him was when he got called up in I think '07, I was kind of excited to see him hoping he'd do well enough to stick around. He looked kinda unmemorable.
