WilliamTell
I do just because in 2005 at the Metrodome he gave my friend's girlfriend his number on a signed baseball. For baseball purposes, probably not.
Harry Chappas
We at least cut ties with the s*** involved with that trade. The baby bears are still trying to sell their end of it. Oh and the Dustin, Cliff and Cotts on steroids takes this thread to a whole new level of stupid. I find myself confusing them with Eric Gagne all of the time, as all four should be out of baseball. I like the Sox guys though. Edited March 8, 2009 by Jenks Heat
GREEDY
QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 8, 2009 -> 11:01 AM) Yeah, this has been noted on this board a few times. Seems to be Coop's MO. Worked with Floyd, didn't work with Vazquez. I have read "Coop'll fixem" many times. I have read that "Coop'll fix a first rounder that busted". But I have yet to see the recipe for "Coop's Magic" other than just telling strikeout pitchers to let up and just throw strikes. Funny how that is exactly the thing a successful little league coach tells his pitchers.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 7, 2009 -> 09:03 AM) I loved Neal in 05, the guy was unhittable with that hitch. No one could catch his fastball and he was dominant. HIs arm started hurting and he had to make some mechanical adjustments and unfortunately the deception in his delivery went away and without it he was unable to be successful. I wish Neal nothing but the best and will always remember when he became a member of Soxtalk and went on to be the most productive member in Soxtalk history (thus far). And I say that as him being an open member of Soxtalk (ie, who actually posted). This.
JorgeFabregas
So I guess the answer to the original question is...no. No one here, at least.
lvjeremylv
QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Mar 7, 2009 -> 11:41 AM) You're so right. Players never have career years unless they are on roids. Please, find another sport. You're right, it's impossible. And I never said roids. I love baseball and the White Sox, but I'm also realistic about things. Not blinded by biases and loyalties. lvjeremylv
QUOTE (Vance Law @ Mar 7, 2009 -> 09:13 PM) Yes it does. It happens all the time. Every season. That's relief pitching. For 3 relievers on the same team? Every season? All the time? Please provide a specific example to support that statement. RockRaines
QUOTE (lvjeremylv @ Mar 10, 2009 -> 05:45 AM) You're right, it's impossible. And I never said roids. I love baseball and the White Sox, but I'm also realistic about things. Not blinded by biases and loyalties. You are so realistic that you continue to infer something that is 100 percent false firsthand. But continue......Lets see what other dumb s*** you can spew about this subject. RockRaines
QUOTE (chunk23 @ Mar 10, 2009 -> 09:59 AM) Speaking of the Braves, according to MLBTR says we're going after Ohman. He is a straight gas can. I loved when the Cubs brought him in against us. And I think thats bulls***. We have Thorton and Richard as our lefties out of the pen most likely. Ohman isnt better than either. Edited March 10, 2009 by RockRaines
