daa84
QUOTE (BFirebird @ Mar 9, 2009 -> 03:46 PM) Getz bringing them all home. I agree with Kalapse on Betemit. Just think about our bench the last couple of years. Have we had anyone that could come in and hit a homer off the bench? going back to 03.... Just think about our bench the last couple of years. Have we had anyone that could come in and hit a homer off the bench? Anderson/Wise/Griffey/Swisher. And Geoff Blum. caulfield12
Viciedo 5/19 on the spring, nice approach taking the ball up the middle. Getz atones for his error...and Betemit. Lillibridge dumps a ball into RCF. Whatever Ramirez, Viciedo and Beckham have in terms of the ball jumping off the bat...Owens has the exact opposite. Kalapse
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 9, 2009 -> 03:48 PM) Anderson/Wise/Griffey/Swisher. And Geoff Blum. Except Griffey and Swisher were a combined 1 for 11 w/ 0 HR pinch hitting last year. Anderson and Wise both hit 1 a piece. Betemit hit 3 in 29 AB in '07. Owens continues to command the RIGHT side of the infield.
