Mike North to launch new sports station on Internet

Former WSCR-AM 670 sports talk show host Mike North is putting the finishing touches on a 6 a.m.-to-6 p.m. sports talk station, Crain's is reporting. It won't be heard on the radio, but over North's Internet site, ChicagoSportsWebio.com. Programming is expected to begin in April.

No news if "the blacks" or sombrero wearing news anchors will be allowed on.

Wait, maybe that shouldnt be in green ;)

Just wanted to give you guys a little info. JHood recently plugged his new show on his Facebook account and I wrote him to say i wouldnt listen since I refuse to support any Mike North endeavor. He wrote this back to me:

Jason, Mike North is a minority owner in my new venture. My supervisor is actually David Hernandez, who is a great guy to work with. I don't think your dislike for Mike should stop what could be fun listening habits for you. I would love your support. Bless you and have a great day. J~

So, i just wanted to be fair to this new radio station.

hmph, I wonder why he was so honest.... big ups for him. I still wont listen to J-hood because he's annoying, whiny, and I dislike his take on most of the issues. But still... big ups for being honest.
