whitesoxfan99
Demetri McCamey is playing horrible basketball lately. Giving no effort on D and missing easy shots on offense.

StrangeSox
This is the first Illini game I've watched all year. They are playing awfully.
Soxbadger
Illini needs to play with more heart. Brock hustled to block that shot and not one other Illinois player even tried to get there. I think Illinois can turn it around, they just need to want it.
mr_genius
cutting the lead down a bit. not sure it's because of anythign Illinois is doing that well on D, WKentucky is just missing shots. Offense is looking better though Edited March 20, 2009 by mr_genius
Jenksismyhero
tisdale needs to gain about 50 lbs. he gets pushed around and becomes worthless. illinois is in this game. wk has hit some ridiculous 3's.
Soxbadger
Refs arent doing Illinois any favors, the guy clearly moves under Brock on that lay up. Should have been and 1.
Jenksismyhero
terrible first half. no defense, no offensive boards, missed open shots. they need to play one of their best halfs of the year to win this game.
whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 19, 2009 -> 10:01 PM) Refs arent doing Illinois any favors, the guy clearly moves under Brock on that lay up. Should have been and 1. That call was absolutely pathetic. College refs are horrible at their jobs across the board. Although we are playing so bad it doesn't matter. And I would love to see college basketball add the semi circle. I'm sick of seeing charges taken while standing under the basket.
Soxbadger
I hate how the announcers almost never question a call. There response was that Brock should have used a jump shot. He was running full sprint and the defender slid under him. If Illinois is going to get back into this game, they are going to need to start taking better shots and give the ball to Davis more. Im pretty sure the guy who took the last shot of the first half for Illinois is not a 3 point shooter so no real reason to take that shot. I think that Davis can cause some real problems for WKU. Also I expect law of averages for some of WKU's shots. Its going to be tight, Illinois really needs to hit them hard to start.

Jenksismyhero
I think the thing that angers me most is that it's been a good 5-6 games since i've seen a legitimate put back. Basically we "run" the offense, shoot the ball, miss, and run to play D.
mr_genius
terrible. all around. lousy offense, wimpy defense, no rebounding Edited March 20, 2009 by mr_genius

whitesoxfan99
McCamey needs to lose 20 lbs in the offseason or I wouldn't start him next year. His defense today on Slaughter has been beyond pathetic.
BaseballNick
QUOTE (mr_genius @ Mar 19, 2009 -> 10:32 PM) terrible. all around. lousy offense, wimpy defense, no rebounding No energy. Way too many second chance points for WKU. Poor overall effort (aside from Brock). McCamey is the laziest guard I've seen in a long time. Oh, and god-awful perimeter defense. Where is Tisdale? Where is Davis?
Jenksismyhero
Alex Legion = The Rally Killer. Every mother f***ing time illinois goes on a run he gets the ball and throws it away or takes a stupid shot.
SnB
alright then. illinois has had a hot/cold offense all season. They came out with nothing today, absolutely nothing. Davis touched the ball like 3 times.

I am really starting to hate McCamey. Hard to like a guy who has a ton of talent and shows no desire to make himself great and gives no effort on D. whitesoxfan99
That should have been an and 1 for Meacham. Western Kentucky player stepped underneath him.
Soxbadger
Weber shouldnt be calling these time outs. WKU is out of them, each time he calls TO the other team gets reminded to not call TO if they get stuck in the trap. If he just let them press right off the bat WKU might pull a Chris Weber.
