Hizzle, when you get a chance, can you post each team's keepers? I want to know who's going to be available.

For sure. As of now, you're the only one to get me their keepers.

I vote for Thursday March 22 @ 8pm Central for the draft. Let's get this resolved. Anyone else have a preferred date/time for the draft?

That time and day works for me. I should be home from by then no problems.

As of now, I set the draft date to the night before opening night. I'm still waiting on Sirtifiably Caffey to sign up/perhaps get his replacement.

Also waiting on everyone else's keepers. If everything falls into place soon, I'll push the draft date up.

The date works for me, but can we move the time up to 7 or 8?

As for my keepers:

Jerry Owens Still Sucks

Braun

Adrian Gonzalez

Ellsbury

Verlander

Kershaw

I can make that work.

So I see we have one person holding the draft up? Is he coming back or what? Otherwise give his team to somebody else. This gets annoying as hell every year.

If I don't hear anything back by Wednesday, the team will be given up.

Yeah. I wasn't trying to get on you, man. I know it's not your fault. It just really gets on my nerves that we seem to always have 1-2 owners every year that hold the draft up. If you're not coming back, say so and we can move on.

Oh, I know you weren't. I hate it as well. I don't think we've ever had an offseason where this hasn't been an ordeal. I'm not worried about filling the spot though. That's usually the easy part.

Also, thanks to all of you that make this easy. I really do enjoy this league & thanks for not making this a hassle on your end.

We will have a league this year, but I'm kinda waiting until I hear about my status with MLB before I make any commissioner moves.

In that case, I'd like to vacate my spot/commissioner title since I won't be able to keep up with it as much as I could before.

I figured this was the case, MHizz. Instead of letting things get down to the last minute, though, would it be possible to transfer commish of the league to someone else on an interim basis until you find out for sure? If you do get it, then things will continue as-is. If you don't, commish can be transferred back to you.

This is, of course, all dependent on whether commish can be transferred at all and isn't restricted in some way.
