Cowch
Kendrick is sure having a nice spring. I am going to watch, but ignore Lillibridge's ABs. I cannot stand watching him bat.
Jimmywins1
Interesting to see Lilly in CF, I seem to remember Ozzie saying that he wouldn't put him there.
Kalapse
Good to see Wise getting plenty of AB, maybe he can get his OBP under .270 today. An 0-4 day will put him at .273/.265/.455/.719 for the spring. 1-4 w/ no walks still dips his OBP below .300 at .294.

He was probably talking about Kroeger
flavum
Melton and the other guy are doing their mike check>> Melton asked if he could hear him breathing. HAHA...somebody finally got to him.
Jimmywins1
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Mar 18, 2009 -> 02:52 PM) He was probably talking about Kroeger I don't think so, it was some nonsense about him not believing guys can play both outfield and infield positions. NorthSideSox72
Hey, Lucy gets a start - nice to see. I was surprised he wasn't in today's cuts. He's apparently back healthy, and is doing well in his few appearances. Maybe he really does have a shot at this thing.
Kalapse
Since when is a 4th outfielder called a "utility player"?
Kalapse
I heard from a pretty good source that when today's lineups were posted and Chris Getz saw his name in the 2 hole he immediately vomited all over himself and collapsed into the fetal position. Word is he's supposed to miss about a week with an ulcer.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Cowch @ Mar 18, 2009 -> 12:46 PM) Kendrick is sure having a nice spring. I am going to watch, but ignore Lillibridge's ABs. I cannot stand watching him bat. I wish Lillibridge would choke up on the bat and just try to make contact. When you're a middle infielder with little power K'ing as much as he does is just not acceptable.

Kalapse
Good start for Dweezy. His 6th K of the spring puts his BB/K at 0/6 and his OBP at .290.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Mar 18, 2009 -> 03:10 PM) Good start for Dweezy. His 6th K of the spring puts his BB/K at 0/6 and his OBP at .290. Yet he's having a "great spring" and going to lead off with bad defense in CF. I'm hoping the Sox are just kidding. KW has to have something up his sleeve.
