Kyyle23
QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Mar 19, 2009 -> 10:21 AM) What films was she in? I don't really recall seeing her in anything. More of a stage actress than film actress, but she was the mom in the remake of Parent Trap, and she was in the movie Nell with Jodie Foster
Texsox
They flew her hours after the head injury, that seems wrong to me.
RibbieRubarb
QUOTE (Texsox @ Mar 19, 2009 -> 11:16 AM) They flew her hours after the head injury, that seems wrong to me. According to the accounts, she was already Brain dead at the time. They flew her to NYC so her family could easily see her and say goodbye before she was removed from life support. Sad and tragic. DBAHO
She's acting royalty in the UK (sister of Joely and daughter of Vanessa Redgrave). Really sad story considering she was awake an hour after the fall, and then started feeling woozy and then went unconscious apparently, and Liam Neeson is one of my favourite actors too. daa84
QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 02:27 PM) wow...I jsut went skiing for the first time last weekend....I dont want to ski anymore...it seems like every year there is someone with some status that kills themself on skis.... RIP i just got back from my second big ski trip in colorado, and i would never in my life go without a helmet...being a beginner, i go pretty slow and people zoom by sometimes missing me by only a few feet...if i fall and one of these guys happens to hit me with his knee or ski or anything, you could easily have massive head trauma....just seems foolish to me to not wear a helmet, especially considering they are typically warmer than a ski hat

Reminds me of why the NHL put up the netting behind the goals. The 13 yr. old girl who got hit by a puck and died was admitted to a hospital , sent home and was later re-admitted before she died IIRC. Brittanie Cecil was her name and she would have been 21 March 18th. Tribute video to her on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On8Ldrly7qM Edited March 21, 2009 by CaliSoxFanViaSWside
