Yeah that'll make them more popular. The RIAA claims that CD sales went down...because of mp3s and not because all the music they produce sucks massive amounts of donkey nutsack. Their claim doesn't hold water because independent record sales increased and their stuff can be found on the net in mp3s as well. :finger RIAA and your lying fascistic bulls*** of price gouging kids for nearly $20 a CD. They make the $150000 per mp3 as a preventative measure. They think that wanting to gouge kids [again] will curb mp3 downloading out of fear of the high penalties. I remember shopping in Florida at Best Buy and they were near $20 there as well. I don't recall anything current anywhere near $12. Even at Target they are $17. If you see a new record for 14.99 on sale, chances are the wholesale cost per piece was 14.50. Mall stores mark up more because they get better deals and can get away with it.
