Does that mean that i had no fun? f*** no!! I love every minute out there, but rest assured, you aren't gonna make enough money gambling to retire and move to the desert. Do some research. The game that gives you the best odds (or one of the best) is blackjack. And there are methods (card counting, as Bmr said) that if you perfect, you can make a friggin' killing. But like Bmr said, card counting is not easy, and not only do you have to perfect it, but you have to perfect your technique, as if the casino catches you, you will be asked to leave and will be put in their database as a card counter, and will not be allowed to gamble there again. Many casinos today use like 5 decks, which makes keeping track of s*** virtually impossible. But, if you look hard, you can still find places that use 2 or 3 decks -- making it much easier to keep track of what's going on. I'd say that's because betting on sports is much more fun and entertaining than betting on a game of cards. At least when you bet on a game, you can sit back with some Stoli and get a good 2-3 hours of entertainment while you lose your money.
