I agree.

Basically going to be home games for MSU. That should get them one win but I dont see anyone beating Lawson and Co. right now.

They already lost by 30 to them on the same court.

In regards to today, it's funny to see the media, before to the game, give Sparty absolutely no chance, and then afterwords try and turn it into some huge upset. Am I the only won who remembered that they won a 7 bid league by an astounding 4 games?

Yeah, I was annoyed and surprised by that. I didn't think Louisville was that amazing of a team to be such a big favorite against Michigan State. Not to take anything away from Louisville, they deserved the #1 seed they got, but they weren't leaps and bounds better than the field and they certainly weren't the #1 overall team like the seeding gave them. It was purely a media creation to build up Louisville to that juggernaut.

They were the conference champion and conference tournament champion of the best conference in the country (with no close 2nd). I think they fully deserved to be the #1 overall.

As for the games, if Michigan State can hit some shots, I really like their chances. I like Villanova's too. They both play defense; UConn and UNC do not.

Yea because it's not as if UConn led the country in blocked shots and rebounding, had the second best team fg% defense and 3rd best rebounding margin or anything like that

That's fine, the #1 overall doesn't matter anyway, but anyone who thought they were actually a noticeable amount better (if better at all) than the other #1s is kidding themselves.

UCONN with Thabeet in the middle is THE most intimidating defensive team in the nation.

But the Big East this year is the greatest collection of basketball teams ever. How can the national champion not be from that conference? The Big East teams obviously were worn down from that brutal conference season playing teams like Rutgers and South Florida night after night.

In a conference with 16 teams, you're going to have 2-3 cupcakes. Still doesn't take away from the fact that it was indeed one of the best and deepest conferences ever.

Congrats to MSU. I knew they were good. Never thought they would get to this point. And I fully expect them to get smoked by UNC. But I won't be surprised if they're able pull off the upset. When you can beat Louisville and UConn back-to-back, you can beat anybody.
