scenario
Jeff Cox in mid-season form I can see. (For those who can't see it, he sent Thome home on a play where he was dead to rights.) Edited March 30, 2009 by scenario

ThunderBolt
QUOTE (scenario @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 06:24 PM) Jeff Cox in mid-season form I can see. flavum
A week left of spring training, and Cox sent Thome in a 12-3 spring training game...that's piss poor.
elrockinMT
Ugly game all the way around. I hope Bart and Jose can do better
flavum
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 05:54 PM) Ugly game all the way around. I hope Bart and Jose can do better They both were topping out at 93. Hopefully it's just a bad day, and they can get one good outing each before facing the Twins. bmags
Dye was a notoriously slow starter before the Sox, has been pretty good with us, though 05 was pretty typical from him. But yes, everyone b**** and complain about a spring training game! Jesus, I'd hate to live like you all.
Balta1701
QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 04:09 PM) They both were topping out at 93. Hopefully it's just a bad day, and they can get one good outing each before facing the Twins. If Colon is topping out at 93, that's a great sign. Probably the same for Jose but we all know how he can bounce around sometimes and still be successful. These 2 are due for the same sort of dead arm period the rest of our guys hit a couple weeks ago.
iamshack
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 05:30 PM) Do we still call that, "pulling a Cora?" I honestly still think Joey did a hell of a job for us....maybe I am just slow and retarded, but it seems like we scored a lot more runs by pushing the envelope than we did with Jeff Cox holding everyone up...
