SoxFan1
I voted Shoeless Joe, greatest hitter of all time! Frank gets a close 2nd.
DonkeyKongerko
Shoeless Joe. He has the coolest nickname. Also not being in the Hall of Fame makes his legacy stronger IMO.
southsider2k5
Joe Jackson has the 3rd highest career batting average of all time while playing in the dead ball era. He was a master of the triple and an excellent CFer in an era where the mitts and other equiptment was a joke.
Clarkdog
Joe Jackson. The only player on this list with a ring as a member of the White Sox.
Steff
Ummm... No Royce Claton? Greg Norton? Jeff Abbott? Mike Caruso?
CubKilla
Gotta go with Joe for the Best Player Ever. Best player I saw in person who flat out played every game, every inning, every pitch as if it was the first? Carlton Fisk. Hands down. Ball players aren't made like Carlton Fisk anymore. For him, it was all about the game. Too bad it's now about $$$$$.
The Bones
Gotta be Shoeless Joe. One of the greatest (if not the greatest) hitters of all-time.
Soxplosion
Joe was great but the whole 1919 thing, I just cant forgive him for that. He may not have thrown it but he knew about it. Thats enough to say he was involved...
mreye
Looks like Shoeless Joe is running away with it.

IlliniBob72
A guy who helped throw the World Series is being voted the White Sox greatest player of all time. Either a sad commentary on the Sox or on the voting.
LDF
A guy who helped throw the World Series is being voted the White Sox greatest player of all time. Either a sad commentary on the Sox or on the voting. depends on which version you believe in, i for one did not believe he was guilty. the banning from the commissioner was a sham and well as how comiskey force the issue. i voted for joe with nellie being second with frank
