WilliamTell
I hope he doesn't get booed. He helped the team in 2005 and will forever be in our hearts as a World Champion.
mr_genius
I doubt Crede gets booed. I predict cheers, not jeers, for Joe.
GREEDY
QUOTE (WinningUgly85 @ Apr 10, 2009 -> 03:58 PM) It's not like he bad mouthed the white sox organization or did anything wrong here. It just came down to how healthy he could stay last season. Wrong.
sircaffey
Who cares if he badmouthed this organization? We have a manager who runs his mouth all the time and an arrogant, stubborn GM. It's not a coincidence that a number of players have done it recently. I almost side with the players. I'd prefer they don't say anything, but I don't hold it against them when they do. LZPride08
QUOTE (GREEDY @ Apr 10, 2009 -> 05:46 PM) Wrong. He did? i never heard about it.. and even if he badmouthed the organization , hes not bashing the fans necessarily . I mean The Big Hurt bashed the organization and he got a standing O his first time back to Chicago

I'd prefer they don't say anything, but I don't hold it against them when they do. But Crede was being disrespectful while still under contract. He didn't badmouth the team at all...one of the few who didn't burn bridges on the way out.
caulfield12
What did Crede do? I know that Ozzie was really frustrated with him in the second half of last season (was he playing or not playing, was he hurt or okay enough to play but advised by Boras to sit/rest?)...and he really lit into him a couple of times, but Ozzie has been nothing but chivalrous since the offseason started about Swisher, Cabrera and Crede. IIRC, once Crede left the team due to injury during the year, he basically stopped communicating with them.
caulfield12
Did they not vote him a full playoff share though?
